National Mobility Awareness Month will take place in May 2013, and will show the people of the United States and Canada that people with disabilities can enjoy mobile, active lifestyles through safe, reliable wheelchair accessible vehicles. The awareness month will focus on increasing independence and the quality of life for people with disabilities.

Oneness Mobility Services LLC is pleased and very excited to be part of this event that will give the public an opportunity to meet inspirational human beings who, despite their physical challenges, lead productive lives.

In celebration of the awareness month, NMEDA has created an online contest that will award three fortunate winners with a customized wheelchair accessible vehicle to meet their needs.

Do you know of a Local Hero who deserves a free wheelchair van?

Visit www.mobilityawarenessmonth.com  which will begin accepting entries February 25, 2013. Once the stories are approved and uploaded, there will be a voting period (March 11-May 10) to help determine which Local Heroes will win a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. A minimum of three Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles will be awarded.

Also, in celebration of the awareness month, Oneness Mobility Services LLC will sponsor an Open House on May 18, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We will have food and other activities. COME OUT AND JOIN US IN A TIME OF FUN AND GETTING TOGETHER.
